KPN is in the middle of a complete transformation as it focuses on driving organic sustainable growth. CEO Maximo Ibarra shared the challenges and opportunities they have experienced in the journey so far.

Sharing his experience at the helm of the Netherlands telecom powerhouse, Ibarra emphasized enterprise agility as a growing priority. “We need to run, and to run you must be fit. The way we are fit is to have the right systems and processes to move faster.” New skills will be needed, and new ways of working. There’s no beginning or end to this work; it’s perpetual. As to where KPN is going, Ibarra says they want to own household connectivity in all its forms, fiber and wireless. He sees this as the key to organic growth and country competitiveness.
