Takeaway

CCOs need to have integrated digital engagement systems. The challenge is that integrated tools do everything but not as well as specialized tools, which need to be stitched together. At the same time, the war for talent requires not just a clear sense of purpose but the skills to manage those kinds of integrated systems. Data is a powerful decision-making tool but human judgement will continue to matter. And the fake news world we live in gives enterprises an opportunity to deliver, often through their owned platforms, credible information from a trusted source.
